No rating means there is no direct access to the information without a credit card subscription or district code.

Child-direct link for learning means the site is designed so that your child can lead themselves through their learning, making it hands-off for parents.

Prodigy

Prodigy is a game based, interactive play map for students to challenge their math and English skills. After customizing a character, students go through a storyline in a world of their choosing, where wizards battle and monsters are defeated through casting of spells and correct answers to age appropriate problems. Parents/teachers can track progress on a dashboard and reward their students with in-game prizes. Once an account is created this is a child-direct link for learning.

Freckle

Freckle includes a guide for how to use the program to support your at-home learner, including a pre-test for placement. “Freckle... allows students to practice Math and English Language Arts at their own level. Freckle continuously adapts to each student’s individual skills, so each student is getting the appropriate challenge, whether they’re working at, above, or below grade level.” This is an assessment practice map for tracking individual abilities and is a child-direct link for learning once an account is created.

PBS Kids allows children to dive into fun and educational videos and games. Familiar TV characters lead the learning as students select what to do.
