Monthly Themes

10/02/2024

Pumpkins

Join us as we explore the ins and outs of pumpkins. We will use shapes to make jack-0-lanterns, compare pumpkin sizes, count pumpkins on vines, and even bust them open to explore their slimy insides!

12/04/2024

Winter

Through comparing and contrasting temperatures while exploring the physics of snow and ice, join as we navigate the different states of water. Math, science and art will help us encompass these changes.

02/05/2025

Valentine's Day

Making connections, bonding with friends, and being a helping hand within a community will all be addressed as hearts and all other shapes take center stage for our activities. We will even combine ingredients, first investigating them separately and then mixed together, to discuss one's important role in a bigger project.

04/02/2025

Colors

Hands-on and making messes is the most memorable way to make colors and creations a lasting impression. As colors mix, discussions of how minute changes can make a lasting impact and forever change our world as we know it will be investigated.

11/06/2024

Fall

Working with leaves, sticks and all things fall, we will create works of art while getting elbow deep to manipulate nature as the season changes. Wind, bubbles and water will be some of the media used to carry out science experiments as we explore.

01/08/2025

Alphabet

You may be familiar with how to sing the ABC's, and what better way to explore each letter than to slow things down and break then apart. Speed and rhythm will help guide much of the learning, with music being a large part of this month's deep exploration into the alphabet.

03/05/2025

Numbers

Count on these activities to bring out the most in number exploration, finding as many ways as possible to bring numbers into play. There isn't a date or time we'll experience that doesn't give us an opportunity to find math in what we do.

05/07/2025

Gardening

April showers will help us sprout May flowers, offering a plethora of opportunity to explore the science behind growth from seeds. Join us to count, sort, compare and contrast seeds, plants, roots and soil as we get messy in the outdoors.

She encourages curiosity, kindness, imaginative play, and so much more! Krina teaching in Maryville would be such a delightful experience for our children and would be a positive impact on our entire community!!!
